About Me
Even as a young child, I always had a passion for social justice and an interest in how the mind works. I have worked in mental health across many different demographics and settings, including inpatient programs, shelters, and private practice. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the complexity of what it means to be a human and the importance of tailoring treatment to each individual.
I know that no single approach fits everyone. My work is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and the use of dialectics to address persistent emotional and behavioral patterns. I also draw from additional modalities to create a flexible and personalized approach for each client. I have over 20 years of experience with DBT and would love to share my knowledge!
As a therapist, I am warm, open, charismatic, and direct. I am an active participant in the therapy room and bring energy, humor, and a down‑to‑earth style to the work. I am extroverted by nature and enjoy working with clients who are ready to engage, reflect, and invest in their own growth.
