About Me
Embracing vulnerability can be challenging, yet it is through this very vulnerability that healing occurs. The journey to mend our emotional wounds begins with the courage to open up. It is our willingness to show up authentically and trust in the supportive help available that guides us along the path of healing. As your clinician, I will meet you where you are on this journey, prioritizing our human connection above all else. You can expect to be met with compassion, empathy, and a steadfast commitment to your care needs.
With 20 years of experience in social work, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families. My work spans diverse populations, and I have had the privilege of serving clients of all ages and backgrounds. My approach is integrative and client-centered, recognizing that each person has unique needs that require a tailored treatment plan.
I was formally trained in therapeutic modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDR Consulting. I specialize in integrating these approaches for optimal healing. I hold certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and in Clinical Trauma Competency for Social Workers. My specialties include Trauma, Secondary Trauma, and Compassion Fatigue, with a strong focus on supporting helping professionals.
This passion for trauma-informed care has inspired me to expand my solo private practice into a group practice, collaborating with fellow dedicated traumatologists.
