About Me

Parenting/guardianship is a job with no instruction manual. Reaching out for help for your child is a
brave step. I want to meet you where you are and work together to help your child accept the
healthy relationships in their lives and work on skills that can help your family. I have extensive
experience working with children and adolescents of all backgrounds. I have worked in both a
clinical setting and as a teacher and school counselor. My approach is unique, progressive, and
flexible to meet the needs of your child and your family.

My clientele includes children aged 5-18, families, and young adults. I utilize the interventions of
play therapies, expressive therapy, family therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. A child
expresses their words through play, and my space will provide the toys the child can use to
communicate their feelings and needs. The space will include extensive art supplies to help your
child regulate and understand emotions. I use structured activities tailored to the needs of your
child. The interventions I use can help children and adolescents in the areas of adjustment, anxiety,
depression, ADHD, PTSD, self-harm, and grief. Whether your child is experiencing an adjustment or
has been in crisis, these interventions can help them and your family cope.

In addition, I have experience providing collateral parenting support for both parents and guardians.
This can look like support to help parents/guardians create a balance of self-care for a positive
family impact. I can provide tools and resources tailored to family struggles. My knowledge of 504
and Individual Education Plans through schools can help provide insight and accommodations that
can help children.
