About Me
As humans we long for connection and to be seen and known. Many of us are not used to having vulnerable conversations, and I respect the process it takes to get there. I value meeting my clients where they are to provide individualized care and help grow a sense of connection within as well as with others.
My hope is to provide a safe and collaborative environment to address your goals and support you in your healing process. I often utilize a strength based and direct approach. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation to heal and to change.
My experience as a licensed clinical social worker includes providing individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. Some of those settings include residential and outpatient substance use treatment programs, school-based and community therapy, and a healthcare clinic, within the states of Maryland and Northern Nevada. I specialize in addressing trauma. My clinical approach includes the use of a variety of tools and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I look forward to working with you soon!
