About Me

Life sometimes presents challenges that require one to seek out help. Oftentimes, those challenges can be learning experiences that help one grow and heal. Do you need help with a specific problem that is affecting your life or do you just need general guidance about discovering who you are? My aim is to meet you where you are currently and then partner with you to find solutions for your mental health concerns. Making the decision to seek out therapy can be difficult for some and I will work to make the experience comfortable, safe, and as non-judgmental as possible.

My approach to counseling is integrative and I incorporate different therapeutic modalities to work on your specific needs. Different concerns require different approaches and I will tailor my approach to suit your needs. The primary modalities I use are CBT, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, and Motivational Interviewing. Understanding your specific concerns and working together toward your acknowledged goals will be the desired result of our time together.

I have 14 years of experience in the field of psychology as a certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and college instructor. I have lived in Northern Nevada virtually my whole life and I love this community and feel obligated to give back. One way that I give back to the community is by coaching football for a local high school. Giving back and helping others is something that I strive to do.
